NEXT STEPS: The Transition Series

The NEXT STEPS training team will be presenting the Transition Series in October/November 2007. This year's series will be hosted by Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association for Special Education, 6020 West 151st St, Oak Forest, IL 60452.

NEXT STEPS: The Transition Series is training developed to assist parents and students to prepare for the change from life as a student in school to life as a citizen in the community. For all young people, preparing for this change is complicated. For students with disabilities and their families, preparing for such changes can be particularly challenging, overwhelming and exciting.

Registration is required. Seating is limited. Please register by September 24, 2007. There is no charge to participate. If you have further questions, or would like to register, please contact Gary Rainaldi or Sue Anderson at 708 687 6475.

Sponsored by the Southwest Cooperative and LADSE Vocational Alliance
