Learning Links is the continuing education division of Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association for Special Education.  Southwest Cooperative believes in providing research-based professional development opportunities to employees, district employees,  families of SWCCCASE students, and community members within the Coop's boundaries. 

All professional development offerings available for credit are aligned with professional standards.  Learning Links sponsors Program Meetings, Cooperative Development Courses and Workshops/Seminars.  Interactive and multi-media presentation principles are incorporated into each continuing education offering.

Credit Offerings:

In accordance with the Illinois teacher re-certification requirements, each program meeting will be equal to 1.25 Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU).  Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association For Special Education is an approved sponsor of continuing education for Speech-Language Pathologists and Social Workers through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations. All course offerings are available for CE credit to Speech-Language Pathologists and Social Workers.

Please click the link below to view a list of courses available for registration.  Registration is available only online.  Please complete the registration information fully.  A confirmation page will be generated after the registration form has been submitted. 

Registration Fees:

All Learning Links offerings are available for free to Southwest Cooperative employees, Member District employees, parents of SWCCCASE students, and residents of our member districts.  If an individual would like to participate in our continuing education offerings who does not meet the above criteria, the following fee structure applies:

All fees are subject to change without notice and at the discretion of Southwest Cooperative.  Fees are collected on the day of the event.
 

Cancellation Information

 

Please be responsible and keep track of the meetings that you are registered for. If you have registered for an event or meeting and will be unable to attend please complete the Learning Links Cancellation Request Form.  If you have any questions, email Laurie Catanzaro at learninglinks@swcccase.org.  Supervisors will be notified when employees have not attended program meetings.
