Learning Links Offered Through March 2008
Remember that program meetings are available only through March.  Make sure that you have met your contractual obligation before going on Spring break.  Don't wait until the last minute as some meetings may be full.  Failure to meet your contractual obligation will result in disciplinary action of one day of suspension per program meeting missed.  Act now!

Annual Stakeholders' Survey on the Way
Watch for an email announcing that the Annual Stakeholders' Survey is live on our website.  The survey will go live during the month of February and will remain live for 30 days.  This is your opportunity to make suggestions for future professional development offerings through Learning Links.  Results from this survey are used to write the IDEA Flow-Thru grant for SWCCCASE.

SMART Goals Needed
Are you a good SMART goal writer?  We are in the process of collecting SMART goals that are typically used when writing IEPs for a goal bank for our new Easy IEP web-based program.  If you have goals that you would like to contribute to the SMART goal bank. please email them to Christi Flores at cflores@swcccase.org .  Your goals will then be accessible through Easy IEP and you will have access to all goals contributed.  Please send them using Microsoft Word format.  Don't be shy!  Share your hard work!

Easy IEP Update
We are in the process of training staff to use the new Easy IEP program.  All of our districts will be using this program.  As their data is uploaded and staff are trained, each district will be phasing into this new program.  Your program supervisor will provide guidance as to when your program can begin to use the new program.  All programs, services, and districts will be using EASY IEP by Fall of 2008.  Currently we have over 100 Cooperatives and districts using this format in the state of Illinois.  See your program supervisor for more information.

Congratulations!
