Insurance Waivers – Employees not electing insurance benefits for the 2011-2012 school year can fill out an insurance waiver form during the month of August.  The form is available on our website.  Please return the form to Dorothy Keppler in the Business Office.

The month of August is the Open Enrollment period for our health and dental insurance.  If you want to change, enroll or cancel your insurance coverage, the paperwork must be turned into the Business Office by August 31, 2011.  The new insurance rates are posted on our website. If you have any questions regarding the insurance, please call 708-342-5333.

 

 


SWCCCASE Board Purchases a Building for the Transition Program

It’s official!  Throw away the moving boxes!  Staff members who have worked in the Transition Program since its inception know that the program has grown dramatically and been housed in multiple locations.  After many years of work with the Board’s Facilities Planning Committee, the SWCCCASE Board purchased the building at 14535 John Humphrey Drive in Orland Park on May 12, 2011.  There are plans to update and renovate the building in the coming years to accommodate the program. 



SWCCCASE Welcomes a New Assistant Principal to the Transition Program

Please join us in welcoming Mr. David Markusic as the new Assistant Principal at the Transition Program. Mr. Markusic was raised in Orland Park and is a graduate of Sandburg High School.  He began his career as a Physical Education teacher in Mokena School District #159  and most recently worked as a teacher in the Transition Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Northern Illinois University and his Masters Degree from St. Xavier University.  SWCCCASE is happy to welcome Mr. Markusic as part of the administrative team.

 


FY12 Tentative Assignments Posted

Tentative assignments for all employees recognized in the collective bargaining agreement are posted on the Staff Information and Resources page of our website.

 


Orientation Location is Odyssey Country Club

Orientation for the 2011-12 school year is scheduled for Wednesday, August 10, 2011. The event will be held at the Odyssey Country Club, which is located at 19110 S Ridgeland Avenue in Tinley Park. Orientation is a mandatory day of attendance for all Coop employees.
