From the Business Office
Just a reminder that November 28, 2008 is the deadline for enrollment  in NCPERS for additional life insurance.  Please contact Dorothy Keppler at 708-342-5333 if you have any questions regarding the insurance.

Adopt a Family This Holiday Season
We are ready to kick off the 2008 HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE which will benefit our own Southwest Students!  You can help our students by donating new hats, scarves, mittens, gift certificates and even toys.  Also, we are looking for individuals or programs to “adopt” a student and/or family for the Holiday.

I will have information regarding specific individuals at the beginning of Thanksgiving week.  Please contact Mary Jean Fahey at mfahey@swcccase.org with questions or donation information.  These are hard economic times for all of us, so any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Tuition Reimbursement Reminder

Staff who are applying for tuition reimbursement for classes they completed during this school year must have the form approved by the program supervisor first.  The supervisor will then forward it to Christina Sepiol for approval and then the employee will receive a copy of the signed form for their records.  Click here to download the Preapproval for Coursework and Reimbursement form .

Staff Contributions Recognized
The SWCCCASE Administration would like to recognize the following staff members for the contributions to the Cooperative:

Jerilyn Smithson, DHH High School Program, volunteers to coordinate all interpreter services and busing for the many students participating in extra-curricular activities.  She acts as a liaison to parents and districts to ensure that our students are able to participate and that services are provided.  She does an excellent job!

   Pink About a Cure

On Monday, October 27th, the Administration Building, Braun and Starnet participated in  “Passionately Pink snack day” to benefit The Susan G. Komen Foundation in the research of breast cancer.  Staff that  participated donated $5.00, wore pink and brought a snack to munch on throughout the day.  The day was a success and we collected $350.00.  Thank you to everyone who took part for such a worthy cause.

Congratulations!
