Coop Headliners

Southwest Cooperative will once again be participating in the Carson Pirie Scott Community Day Fundraiser. Coop Employees can sell $5.00 coupon booklets to earn funds that go right back to our programs.  The booklets contain 8 coupons for 20% off as well as a $10 coupon. Last year we raised over $2,400 for our programs.  Last year's big earner was the Transition Program who brought in $750.00!  Booklets are available now through  the day of the sale which is Saturday, November 10, 2007.  If you are interested in participating, contact your program supervisor or Erin Hackett at ehackett@swcccase.org .

The Coop is Going Green! No, this has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day!  We will be participating in the Healthy Schools Campaign that will be implemented in all Illinois schools in 2008.  The Cooperative will begin using environmentally friendly cleaning products and equipment, adopt green cleaning procedures, use recycled paper and plastic products where appropriate, and educate our staff and students in promoting a healthy school environment.  More information will follow about 'Going Green' and how each of us can do our part and be a member of the Green Team.

Jordan (Fitzer) and I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Passionately Pink luncheon.  Without your help and support it would not have been possible to meet our goal of $500.00!!  So thank you again and let’s hope we find a cure….Soon!  ~Kathie Piccirillo

It's time again for the  Holiday Gift drive which benefits our Southwest Cooperative students. Everyone can help by donating new hats, scarves, mittens, coats, toys or gift certificates.  You can even adopt an individual or family for the holiday.  For details, please contact Mary Jean Fahey at mfahey@swcccase.org with questions or donation information.

All applications for employment are now completed online!  The online application is listed on the Job Center tab of our website.  The new system allows applicants to view our open positions, begin an application for employment and even complete the application at another time if needed.
Be sure to call Emma Dabney at (708) 342-5350 to report your absence.
