Course Description:
Participants will review and expand on the vocabulary used in Sign I and have
opportunities to use sign language during the class. Focus will be put on
signing conversationally. Issues in Deaf culture will continue to be discussed.
Participants will leave the class with an intermediate knowledge of sign
language and Deaf culture. Participants must have already taken Sign I or
receive approval from the instructor to register for this course.
Instructor Information:
Amy Savage is
currently a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Itinerant Teacher at Southwest
Cooperative. Amy received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Illinois
State University. She has been involved with Sign Language for over 5 years.
