SWCCCASE open enrollment period is the month of May. During this time, employees can voluntarily elect insurance changes effective in July. Insurance changes outside of the new hire election window (30 days) or open enrollment period must be requested within 30 days of a qualifying life event and may require proof of the life event before approval.

EBC Life Event Insurance Change/Update

Any full-time employee that is waiving both medical and dental insurance qualifies for an insurance waiver. To receive the waiver, an employee must WAIVE both medical and dental insurance in the EBC portal. All new hires should do this within 30 days of hire. All returning employees should do this during Open Enrollment yearly.
