    About the teacher:

Hello! My name is Chelsea Foreman. I am so excited to be in Room 204 with your child this year . We are going to make huge strides in  learning and grow together as a classroom. We currently have Mrs. Jeeninga and Ms. Vela as our classroom paraeducators as well as Ms. Mayda as our classroom social worker. The four of us will be working as a team all year to ensure your learner not only grows academically but emotionally as well.

A few fun facts about me : I have lived in Japan and North Carolina. I am a wife as well as mom to two little girls. I have only ever taught junior high, and love this age group!

    Communication:

    • We have a classtag account where I will be sharing important announcements, reminders, and class updates. You can also send me messages through classtag should you need to contact me directly. I have sent home a login instructions sheet. Our classroom code is unique to each student so please email me if you need the code resent.
    • Email; I check my email periodically throughout the day. My email is cforeman@swcccase.org
    • IF needed I will call home to communicate any information as well

Communication with home is VERY important to me! Please reach out with all concerns, questions, or important information

    Homework

Homework will not be given very often.  Students  will have an opportunity to bring home work from their Work In Progress (WIP Folders) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This folder contains work students did not complete in class due to work refusal . If by Friday these folders are empty, students will earn a reward for completing all of their  work for the  week. My goal is for students to learn  responsibility with their assignments as well as be able to successfully keep up with work in class. We all have good and bad days, this WIP folder allows them a chance to make up missed work and be rewarded for working hard each week!
