Welcome to room 206!

My name is Caroline Horvath and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2019-2020 school year at Braun Educational Center. Learning and teaching is my passion and I am excited to see what your child and I will learn this school year.

Born and raised in the south suburbs, I really enjoy what this area has to offer.  I graduated Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Special Education; I am a certified Learning & Behavior Specialist 1. This is my second year teaching at Braun in the junior high school and my 17th year teaching. I am married with four children of my own; three in college and my youngest in middle school.

I have high academic and personal expectations for each student and will work hard with the students to help them reach their goals.
