I began my teaching career in 2003 when I won a fellowship award to teach summer school at Englewood High School. I graduated from Western Illinois with my B.A. in history. Later I earned my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. I have over 13 years of teaching experience. I began my career with the Chicago Public Schools system and left in 2016. I managed a crossfit gym on the southside until January of 2018 when I joined Braun as a day to day substitute. I completed my LBS 1 certificate in June of 2018.
