Program Philosophy
The Communication Development Program (CD Program) Offers a Continuum of Placement Options for Learners with Communication Disorders Including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Other Speech and Language Disabilities. the CD Program Works with Students from Preschool Through Senior Year of High School. Our Classrooms Are Located in General Education and Separate Public Special Education Schools in Palos, Oak Forest and Tinley Park. We Have Different Placement Options Available to Support Different Communication Needs.

Located in Various General Education Setting (Palos East Elementary School, Fulton Elementary School, Jack Hille Middle School, Central Middle School, and Andrew High School)

Integrated speech-language therapy and social work
- Designed to support students with socialization and executive functioning support

Teaches social competencies with Social Thinking-based methodology and ABA practices
- Targets learning standards in ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Communication courses with student specific accommodations, modifications, and supplemental aids
